Prudential Eye Awards, Singapore 2017 - 2018
As a co-judge for the sculpture award, Petroc has been part of the Prudential Eye Awards For Contemporary Asian Art for the last two years.
Taking place at the Marina Bay Sands, Hotel Singapore, the awards recognise the best emerging Asian contemporary artists as well as the leading exhibitions, galleries, institutions and art critics working to promote Asian contemporary art.
The Ocean Ball 2018, in partnership with Stena Recycling, and The Perfect World Foundation
In June 2018 Petroc attended the The Ocean Ball, in Stockholm Sweden. As part of the artist’s long standing passion for conservation and the environment, and new work by the ground breaking Stena Recycling offer the opportunity for developing new techniques to tackle the levels of plastic in the ocean and use the reclaimed material in the production of artworks that draw attention to the worlds endangered ecosystems.
Hosted by biologist Silvia Earle the Ocean Ball brings together like minded philanthropic individuals and organisations looking to make a lasting change to protect the future of our planet and its sustainability.
During Sculpture in the City Petroc Sesti Studio was involved in a series of educational talks to local schools organised by Open City. The lectures were aimed at exposing the children to art and giving them the tools to develop it themselves.
In Solar | Relay, the discussion was interdisciplinary, exploring the links between Art and Science and how the two meet and inform each other within the piece.
Petroc Sesti is an ambassador and part of the selection committee for Prudential Eye Awards. Pan Asian contemporary art awards for emerging artists held in Singapore.

Petroc Sesti’s TIME FOLD launches at this year’s ‘Sculpture in the City 2013’, the annual public realm sculptural exhibition held in London’s ‘Square Mile’ insurance district. The sculpture will be on show from the 16th October to December 2013 courtesy of the Boghossian Foundation, Brussels.
The launch is a Guided Tour at 11am Tuesday 15th October in front of the Gherkin 30 St Mary Axe.
This follows on from talks by the artists held at 9:30 on the top floor of the Gherkin which unfortunately is sold out.
